{"id":909,"date":"2026-03-19T12:05:12","date_gmt":"2026-03-19T12:05:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/web2.pssr.sk\/?page_id=909"},"modified":"2026-04-15T12:43:34","modified_gmt":"2026-04-15T12:43:34","slug":"crhz-cattle","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/web2.pssr.sk\/index.php\/en\/crhz-cattle\/","title":{"rendered":"CRHZ \u2013 Cattle"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cattle Identification<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Precise individual identification of cattle is a fundamental prerequisite for maintaining the central register.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Individual identification ensures the determination of the identity of each animal and its origin with regard to the herd, place of birth, country of origin, as well as the determination of changes in location with regard to its herd and individual holders during its lifetime.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Permanent identification by plastic ear tags, whereby each animal must have at least two original ear tags with description, one in each ear, which remain with it throughout its lifetime and must not be changed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">PASSPORT &#8211; Animal Identification Document<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the document is issued for all newborn calves<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the CRHZ enters into the passport the animal&#8217;s ear tag number, herd registration number, date of birth, breed and breed composition, sex, coat colour, mother&#8217;s identification number, date of passport issue, name and address of the first holder of the animal &#8211; all based on processed data from the &#8220;Cattle Change Notification&#8221; form<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>it accompanies the animal throughout its lifetime and upon each change of holder, the original holder is obliged to hand over the document to the new holder<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Ear tags, information and documents required for maintaining the central register are provided by the regional offices of the Breeding Services of the Slovak Republic, state enterprise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Current <strong>breed codes and names, country codes, event codes and other reference tables<\/strong> required for maintaining the central register can be found in the Free Access to CRHZ Data section under <strong>Basic Reference Tables<\/strong> at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cehz.sk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">www.crhz.sk<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Contact:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"tel:+421415073744\">+421 41 5073 744<\/a><\/strong> &#8220;hotline service for the public&#8221;
