the identification number of the pig group by which the pigs are identified.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pigs are identified by tattooing or plastic ear tags.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Each pig is identified by a plastic ear tag in the left ear or by tattooing in the left ear or by surface tattooing on the left side of the body.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The plastic ear tag used for pig identification contains:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; two characters indicating the country code (letters &#8220;SK&#8221; for the Slovak Republic)<br>&#8211; five characters indicating the registration number of the herd in which the pig was born<br>&#8211; a graphic symbol (logo), name or code of the organisation authorised to maintain the central register of pigs<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ear tags, information and documents required for maintaining the central register are provided by the regional offices of the Breeding Services of the Slovak Republic, state enterprise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Current <strong>breed codes and names, country codes, event codes and other reference tables<\/strong> required for maintaining the central register can be found in the Free Access to CRHZ Data section under <strong>Basic Reference Tables<\/strong> at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cehz.sk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">www.cehz.sk<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Contact:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"tel:+421415073744\">+421 41 5073 744<\/a><\/strong> &#8220;hotline service for the public&#8221;
