ICAR – International Association for Animal Performance Testing
I.C.A.R. The organisation is registered in Paris, France, in accordance with French law, as an international non-profit and non-governmental organisation. In 1990, ICAR began operating worldwide and started placing greater emphasis on the standardisation of performance testing methods in its activities. In the early 1990s, an important document – the Special Stamps Rules – was also approved, among other things, which governs the rules and requirements under which ICAR allowed the use of a quality seal, a symbol of the quality of performance testing (Slovakia gained the right to use this seal in 2002).
