International genetic evaluation in INTERBULL center
Interbull was established in 1983 as a joint organization of the ICAR, the European Association for Animal Production (EAAP) and the International Dairy Federation (IDF). Market with semen and embryos required an accurate assessment between animals, especially sires, carried out within and between countries in particular. International exchange of information provided by Interbull helps member countries to develop effective methods for genetic evaluation of cattle. In 2008, we sent for the first time our national genetic evaluation of Simmental and Holstein population to the international evaluation in the center INTERBULL.
